UNHEARD VOICES (2018 - ) is an instrument consisting of seasponges, water and electronic circuits, used in Gaia-Resonance, a collaboration with Dewi de Vree.
Unheard Voices
refers to the amplification of hidden (electrical) signals (making them
audible) triggered by seasponges, the voice of nature, we are
neglecting as well. I love to play with paradoxes like water and
electricity and nature versus technology. This instrument can be played
alone as well as in the collaboration.

DROPS ON HOT METAL PLATES (2015 2016) : a prototype for a new Soundsculpture,
based on the sound of waterdrops falling on hot metal surfaces. The first
set-up has been presented during November Music 2015 in Den Bosch. This
project is funded by Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie. |

SOUND-CASE (2014-2015): This
instrument consist of an empty vinyl-case filled with electronics. Here
for the first time I am experimenting with making artistic choices
based on pure and authentic sounds. In this process I am not doing any
sound technical concessions for the purpose of their visual appearance.

|
SPLASHBOX (2012-2014): This
underwater set-up covers a large part of the aural spectrum. Using bare
frequencies the water is literally put in motion and made audible by
using an underwater microphone. By adding objects during this wet dance
and changing the basic frequencies I create a live composition.

|
RAUSCHMASCHINE (2010-2012): Performance
with an archive Cupboard, using it as an instrument and playing with
the vibration of several metal objects in the different drawers and the
sound of the unit itself. |
|
|
NOISE-LAB (2007-2009): Theatrical
performance wit sound-experiments working with resonance of a spring
and a heather. Using the loudspeaker as intrument.
|
|
PNEUMA-TIX (2005-2006): Living pneumatic noise-sculpture with own optics
|
|
KRANKENHAUS (2004): Pneumatic Installation with light-sensors
|
|
NOISEPIJP (2003): Noise-Tube with moving image
|
|
LAWAAJ-MASJIEN (2002): Pick-up-needle on a loudspeaker, instrument based on feedback (or mp3)
|
|
BOSVOGEL (2001): Electronic instrument based on little electric circuits, sounds like an electric bird |
